Hey ive been uming and arring over getting minx-think I am going to give it a go! After reading this I thaught to myself why are they affected by a hot country because surely alot of people who will be using minx will live in a hot place as their home. also if they are taken off using heat then like said above what if you where in a hot environment or using a sun bed or something would this affect them. I am not in any way critisizing as I have never used it and I do plan on getting it just a few questions xx

Hi, I say to my ladies that they are fine to have baths, go, swimming, go in the hot tub and do everything else they would normally do with water/heat. The only problem they would have is if they started pulling or picking the edges whilst in heat/water (or any other time), as this would make them come off. As long as they leave them alone, the heat/water shouldn't affect them.

I've had my minx on my toe nails for 2 weeks, in that time i have spent nine days in Tenerife, the weather was about 30 degrees, i was in and out of the pool, digging my feet in the sand and they are still looking good. They are so easy to apply and the comments i have had have been great, everyone want them!!!!

I haven't had any trouble with the Silver Lightning Minx on my toes. I was told to heat up the Minx, apply to toe, and press down on the nail for a good 15-20 seconds. I press firmly on the free edge and kind of smooth it down as it cools. No lifting thus far.

If people abuse them then they are going to have problems. Same with enhancements. It is totally unrealistic to ask them to do something they can't do. Tight shoes without hosiery or socks is pretty silly really. What do you expect to happen in that situation?

Although i have previously posted and said m minx has stayed put i would like to say that after wearing my dolly shoes my big shoe has also wrinkled, it's where the nail rubs the inside of the shoe, all other toes are still georgeous after about 5 weeks, this weekend i am going to change the design, does anyone know if applying a thin layer of top coat or gel over the big toe will prevent this crinkling. Just to comment on another post, i don't think wearing ordinary everyday shoes is abuse, it's summer and wearing dolly shoes without socks is normal.

I have been wearing Minx on my toes for ages now and wearing all different kinds of shoes, so has my daughter and she wears dolly shoes all the time with no problem.
I think the knack is in the filing off, I don't overlap over the free edge, or stretch it too much in application and it does just great. When you apply you have make sure there are no creases at all, especially near the free edge, as this is when you will find fraying could occur. |
