hiya - if you go online to Welcome - Sweet Squared they have all the info under education - you may find that you just need a conversion day if you are already trained or even 121 training to cover areas you need help with

Not sure if this helps but I also enquired to Sweet Squared via email, they didn't respond so I gave them a call, they advised me costs would be £*** for 1 weeks foundation course, they offered places for following week or 2 weeks after.
Hope this helps!! Ang :-) |

Hi there - you can't do a conversion course with CND from EN as they don't recognise the EN certificates - you will need to do the foundation course as you have stated.
I too qualified with EN and had problems when actually dealing with real nails as apposed to the trainer nails I was assessed & credited on. Thankfully, due to some fabulously helpful people on here, and lots of perserverance, I seem to finally be getting the good results I want and need. I think your decision to do the CND course is a great one, and one that I will probably be following when I have enough cash to allow me to do so. Good luck x |

Thanks for the replys. I am attempting to talk my Husband into allowing me to do this course. Heaven knows how much we have spent already probably about £2,000 + on courses and supplies etc.......
Just have a little problem of fitting the training days around Kids, Husbands job as an airline pilot etc...... fingers crossed because I really need to do this if I am going to improve on my techniques. Sarah xxx |

Have you tried the tutorials on here, if you click on the navigation tab at the top of the page and then tutorials you might find something there to help you in the meantime while you sort out some training.
What seems to be wrong with your nails? Could it be that you just haven't had enough practice? Further training with a top nail company will help but you will still need a lot of practice before you are producing good nails and even after years you will still be learning and improving. Ive finally talked Hubby into paying for my CND foundation course. I am doing it at the Essex academy in August. It will be well worth it!!! I have paid out so much money on EN courses and I really need a one to one so Its done.
I really can't wait. The lady who will be teaching me mentioned homework, what will they expect me to do? xxSarahxx |

Thanks everyone.
My course starts in September on a one to one basis. I thought if I am going to do it then I may as well pay the extra for one to one coaching. The teacher from Essex nail academy sounds really lovely. I am really excited about it. Are the CND products really expensive? Thanks xxSarahxx |

Well, I've only ever used CND so tbh I don't really have anything to compare it to. But IMO they aren't overly expensive and also you you do get what you pay for - cheap products get cheap results.......
There are geeks who have used CND switched to a less epxensive brand and then switched back when they realise the difference in the quality of the product. CND holds it's colour, doesn't go brittle and makes rebalancing a much less arduous task....... |

I know exactly how you are feeling right now, I originally trained with Carlton Institue and nearly 2 years later im still struggling with everything and feel I have taught myself more on my own and the help of my local salon than I learnt on the original course.
I have now decided to do foundation course with creative and start all over over again, even though ive already spent a fourtune already ! I cant wait now to do the course in september and learn from the best. Its nice to know im not the only one out there who is in the same situation as me. Roll on september its going to be worth it. Hiya,
Its ggod to hear im not the only one who feels they have wasted money. I trained earlier this yr with salon systems (heard of it?). Even though I have only be doing it afew months, im finding the product to be cheap and so the results are not great and they are not lasting long. I am just researching which gels to go onto next and im so confused coz i cant afford a whole new course again. Well done for those starting again, good luck x |
