I hated doing foils - I don't even think the end "look" is that nice either.

The easiest way I found to do them, and get them to stick, is to apply the adhesive, wait until it was practically dry and then press down the foil onto the nail.

One of my technicians up the road here started doing Minx in her salon just 5 weeks ago. She told me yesterday she has added over 400.00 per week in minx services alone on toes. (they do about 20 per week) mmmmmmmmmmm lets see??? That is a potential of a cool 20,000.00 extra a year on her salon turnover!!! No one is doing that with foils, trust me. Or hand painted nail art either.

As always, there is the odd person that grouses about problems because they haven't applied the product correctly .... I've just had Samantha here for a week with her best friend Bev, both had Minx on their toes ... both sunbathed all day, were swimming ... were showering and going out and on the go .. guess what ? .. no one had a lifted edge ... they were gorgeous and admired everywhere they went. "Where can I get my toes done like that??" So my technician up the road will now have even more bookings than normal.

Minx can also peel at the tips very easy. Also, apply it with the high watt lamp isn't always fun either. As we know, they should be applied with the lamp.

I prefer the foils because I get complete coverage every time and if you do the foil adhesive on all ten fingers at once, the adhesive will dry by the time you put it up and get to the initial finger. The Silver Spectrum is just as shiney as the Silver Lightening.

Minx has taken away a few steps but for me not worth it. Nail foils also allow me to pamper my clients more with an actual manicure or pedicure instead of a dry treatment.

Just my opinion.
This is my opinion to we are all welcome to our own it's amazing how so many people hate foils but when you do them right they are stunning x

I would say the exact same thing for Minx!

I've done foils right .. many many times .. and no one is saying or has said that they don't look nice. Just that Minx are far easier and also every bit as stunning. I also think that clients feel just as pampered (no one has complained so far ) I certainly would not offer foils FIRST now, having found Minx and after having so many thrilled clients who are wearing it. No one ever asked me for foils in anything like the numbers who are asking for Minxed toes. Those are my observations and that of many others.

I'm not sure why we are even debating the issue. No one is twisting anyones arm here. Just passing on an excellent business opportunity for your salon that should really not be ignored. Learn to do everything, I say. Why exclude a brilliant investment in a new and asked for service?
