oh i would rather a soak off, salon system is only a 9watt and file off. its a real pain. takes too much time.
ibd suggest buying theirs which has 2x4 watts which in thoery adds up to 8watts right? so surely i could get away with using my 9watt. |

Right now sit yourself down & listen (soz to be harsh but this advice will save you money & make you money) I have used crap companies for training in the past & spent a hell load of money trying to learn. GO WITH CND. I have just had my 1st 121 with them & its exactly what I wanted from an educator from the begining. they are the bees knees & will see you right. HTH xx |

Decide what you want the gel to do for you and your clients. What do you want to use it for... only natural nail overlays? Sculpting? Tip and overlays? Do you want a gel that's good on hard handed clients? If so then I would suggest a buff off gel such as Brisa (which I use very successfully) or EzFlow Gel It, NSI Balance, Young Nails etc. I don't see how you can come to a decision when comparing such a diverse choice of gels. Re the lamp query... read the following article for more info on UV lamps - Choosing a UV Lamp for your Gel System hth's a bit

But i have heard so many good things about the product and traing for cnd is too costly and training schools are too far away. Not easy when you have 2 small children. |

IMO, you'll travel 'however far' to get the best nail education, if you really want to follow your path with a company. I drive approx 90 minutes for my training (and would go further if that's where the best education was), and I flew to the UK from Spain to attend The Event in October last year. Why? Because I knew it was worth it |

Hi there, you have made a good decision. Young nails are not 'crap' and I have been doing nails for 9 years now and have used many different brands.
I have had my gels on now for nearly 4 weeks, testing, testing, and they are still looking perfect apart from regrowth! All my clients are very happy, infill time reduced etc. CND are also a great brand as well as NSI and many others, there is not just one fab brand but many and this is what makes it difficult to choose. Young's training and products are fab and the people friendly, very friendly, next day delivery and someone to talk to at the end of a phone if you have any problems at all. As for the cost of your training? Well once you have done the training I will let you make up your own mind. Can you afford to spend more on training when you have already spent too much. Young nails people are flexible and take into account the individual and the training you have already received. You will love them, I promise! Good luck for your future in nails and enjoy yourself in Bristol! Love and best wishes Sheila |

If i had a money tree and trusted childcare i would probably be more willing to do it. Not saying its not worth it, just saying i cant afford it! |
