If there is creasing or buckling then yes you need to learn to control that. Same with wallpapering a wall.

After a few sets of Minx you will learn how to handle it.

I find that working slowly with the sides of my thumbs (never dragging downwards but from the centre to the sides). At the eponychium I work ouwards from the centre in a fan shape. This will stop any creases. Work slowly and methodically and pay attention to what is happening.

I've heard that some people apply minx with very, very little work to the nails beforehand. I'm just wondering does this mean one wouldn't necessarily have to be a fully qualified manicurist in order to be able to offer Minx nails?

It does not involve allot of work for Minx to be properly applied so that they last and look beautiful, but it is necessary to prepare the nail surface to be free of all cuticle and oils. If a professional is not preparing the nail surface in the correct manner than he/she is not doing the job correctly.

Minx veneers are only sold to nail professionals in the UK through www.sweetsquared.com or one of their associates; or a phoned order to 08452106060 where you will be asked for proof of certificate before being allowed to purchase. So the answer to our question is, yes you do.
