I'm surprised no one is interested....have you thought about advertisng in the recruitment section, maybe even on recruitment websites??
I really do hope you sort out a solution to your problem as i think a medi-spa would be fab...definitely a good way to go! xx |

sounds deluxe.
have you thought about offering an initial rent free period for a anil tech. they might be willing to give it a try if theres nothing to loose. another thought is to maybe contact some of the distributors of good brands and ask for recomendations of approved nail techs in your area . then give them a call and ask if they would be interested in a place. ive had this type of call several times and although i personally wasnt interested in making a move, i have forwarded the number of others who could be. it might just help you make contact with someone you may not otherwise have reached. alterntively, have you thought about doing some nail training yourself so that you could offer more services. i'd recomend something simple like lechat powder gel or lechat nobility gel. they are easy products to learn and you would master them more quickly than liquid and powder acrylic or traditional gels. you could start by offering soak off gel overlays on natural nails and toes while you spend a little while practicing nail extensions. |

Yes I did place an advert in the recruitment section here and also on Gumtree. Got some responses but none were any good. I even checked out the whole database of hairandbeautyjobs.co.uk for nail techs. Looks like not many people want to step out on their own these days. I am so excited about my little venture. Probably a very risky things to do in the current climate. But I am confident I can make this work as the location is very good. So fingers crossed all will be ok. |

Yes, I am going to be open to all offers including the initial rent free period. Also I did get in touch with sweetsquared and they told me to place an advert on salongeek. But may be I should contact the other companies as you said. Hopefull somebody somewhere might know a contact which would be helpful. I my self would love to do nails. I feel I have lost out on a great art by been stuck in the skincare field for so long. Once I’ve got the salon up and running that’s going to be the first thing I learn. I’am normally an artistic person anyway and love arts and crafts and drawing. So the field of nails most certainly interest me. Perhaps as you said I should try and learn the less challenging ones first so if I don’t find anyone for my salon then perhaps at least I will be able to offer them. Thanks for all the helpful tips. |

I think I finally found someone who can sort me out thanks to a recommendation by GEEG She put me in touch with Marian Newman who has helped me so much even if she doesn’t know me!
