Although im just starting to get back into nails, I have my first booking for next year over in south africa. My Sister is getting married over their and wants me to do her nails. Her wedding is having a feather theme and wants me to come up with some ideas. Can anyone help? aghhh I dont know where to start. She also said she wants it to look classy and not tacky.... a hard choice in my opinon lol aghh

I've seen nails with a painted Peacock tail on them but for a bride if more tradition is wanted I'd maybe paint a small white feather on random nails not all.
Feathers are hard to do. Look on the Internet for inspiration!!

why not try ab laser strands to make a feather look or try to find some white feather stickers i will help look if you wish, try to keep it simple and only on the odd finger as wedding nails really need to be classy and quite "toned down"

Why not encase a small white feather or chose a colour from the bridal bouquet on her ring fingers only with a little crystal diam ante you can get tiny feathers or maybe couple two tiny ones with 2 small hoops slip the feathers into the hoops to make them look like rings and encase them in clear .... I know what I mean but dont think I can make it clear enough the way i see it, it would look pretty dainty original but not tacky.

Thanks for the messages, I spoke to her today and I was thinking maybe a feather transfer on her ring finger or maybe a tiny feather (but dont think I would be able to find one small enough :-( ) If anyone has anyfree time and wants to dabble I wont mind lol x x Thanks guys for ya help x

Thompson - if you send me an address over via PM, I have tonnes of feathers here off the parrots Lots of smaller down type feathers that you may be able to trim to shape and can send you a small variety of colours if you like Knew that parrot keeping and nails would go together at some point
