I use them on myself when I use tips and I use them on clients with the high arched (almost a high square arch) nails with deep side walls. Eclipse are specifically for this type of nail shape. Eclipse is not for everyone every day but as I said, specifically for when the shape above calls for it. They fit this shape like a glove.

Thank you once again. I went and looked at them, they also have a V-cut, right?
You know, I think I'm beginning to see the point here. )) I think I may want to try them on myself sometime. I have a nail which may be 'cutout' for such a tip )) - it has a slightly different arch and I just see the way to 'sit' the tip on it so that it's straight and nice and has a wonderful C-curve.
To think that I never payed much attention to tips - I thought they were all the same )) Then it suddenly dawned on me..

I hope I use the right terms this time. ))
