Brisa removal for Bio Application - 29-08-09, 11:37 PM

Hi Guys

I am a Bio Tech but have a new client next week who already has Brisa on her nails applied by another tech. She wants this removed and then Bio put on instead. Bio is a soak off and I believe from all the threads I have read on here that Brisa would just be buffed off. How long would this take for me to buff off? (I don't suppose soaking in acetone would speed up the process at all?) Thanks.

It should take approx half an hour to remove a full set, providing they haven't been applied too thickly.
You're right, soaking in acetone won't help at all.

When you are doing the removal you can leave a very thin layer of Brisa on the nails, it shouldn't interfere with your Bio application.

Thanks, Sandi. What grit buffer do you use in your Brisa removal?

Start with 180, then as you get nearer to the nail plate, change it to 240.

Brisa really is very easy to file and doesn't need too much pressure , it really shouldn't take that long.

As Sandi has already mentioned, leave a very thin layer of the Brisa gel on the nail to avoid hitting the nail plate with the file.

I often use soft gel directly over hard gel, there has never been any problems.
