Blending the white french line? - 01-09-09, 11:51 PM

How do i blend the hard white line of a french gel overlay with the pink so it isn't so, well, hard? I like them quite white and quite pink but just a little bit more blended. I've heard of people "stringing" across the line in the pink?

I think i know what you mean...you want a less crisp smile line...like the pink fades/blends into the white...??

1 way is to use a soft white....instead of a bright white.

The stringing method you mention is just another way of getting a crisp smile line.

To be honest i cant think of how you can apply a white gel to a nail and not get the join of the pink and white without it looking messy...the whole idea of the smile line is that it is a nice perfect curve.
