Dress a Nail Competition Spring/Summer 2009 -

Dress A Nail - Spring/Summer 2009 Here are the details you've all been waiting for... the Salon Geek Dress a Nail Competition  (I can't quite believe that it's been 2 years since we last did this comp!) We have some fantastic prizes up for grabs: Derek Murdoch ~ Afiniti ~ Nfu.Oh Master Artist 90 pc kit plus an Nfu.Oh mixed media nailart box, hand picked by the Afiniti team. Samantha Sweet ~ Sweet Squared ~ Mini Minx kit Fiona Barron ~ Jewellery My Design ~ A handmade ankle bracelet plus a Nail Graphix colour of your choice Adell ~ Nail Delights ~ Mixed Media nail art items incl 3d stickers and foils plus much more A massive thank you to Derek, Samantha, Fiona and Adell for their prize donations  I'm looking forward to receiving LOTS of entries to do those prizes justice! RULES
I've used the same rules as last time, they are as follows: Find a footwear pic (that shows off the toes) and dress a set of toenails (1 foot only) to go with it You can use your own footwear if you want to Real feet only You can use anything you like to 'dress' the toenails No copyrighted images allowed Your submitted photo has to be a clear image SalonGeek.com reserves rights for promotional usage of all submissions All entries to be emailed to me no later than 8pm (GMT) Sunday 24th May 2009 (link in my signature) Please submit your 'dressed foot' in the same picture as your footwear OR If using your own footwear then take the photo with your 'dressed foot' wearing the footwear Other than that... anything goes Judging Criteria A) Style: Does the nail complement the footwear? B) Workmanship: Overall view of completed artwork C) First impression: “WOW Factor” D) Use of colour and textures: The use of colour and other media, how well does it work together? E) Application of Nail art and finish: Is the art work neat and tidy? Nicely finished? Your judges are Fifitrix, loubylou & Purelynailz, thank you for giving your time ladies I hope you all have fun and enjoy creating your entries |

God Im sooooo excited! Not beacause Im going to enter, (god no) but this is my fav ever comp that was done! Bring on the pictures, whoop whoop! Shoes and nails, yippee!

It's not that i don't like this comp, but i was kind of hoping for the dress a nail original (dress and nails).
I'll try to enter even thow toes aren't my forte... Great to have a iniciative like this here. Thanks for your efford in making it real. |

oooo im tempted to give it a go, ive had to drop out of Birmingham this week end and thought i had to wait til sept for the next comp!
Is it a photographic competition (sorry is that a blonde question)  and are we only alowed to show one foot?
