    e-File training

I did my e-file training with Katie Barnes who is absolutely brilliant in Warwick, which isn't too far away from you (I think).

Nail art, gel polish or regular polish?

Oh that completely depend on the polish, if it doesn't cover nicely in one thin layer it isn't going to be useful for stamping. You can use the specific stamping polishes, but I also find CND creative play polish works well for stamping.

    Best hard builder gel?

The Lexy lines come in 30 or 50 ml pots, and the colour and glitter gels in 17ml. If you contact sweet squared they can give you an approximate sets per pot and cost per service.

    Help, lamp not curing

As a very first check, does the bulbs have any cured product on them at all, or is the lamp dirty on the inside causing the light not to travel around inside it?

    Best way to take photos?

    Good lighting is key!

Nail art, gel polish or regular polish?

I only use normal polish for stamping. Acrylic/water colour paints for more detailed work. Gel paints, or gel polish for the more "fast" or simple nail art, or where I want to use pigments or glitters on top of the artwork.

Mixing CND Creative Play gel & Shellac

No, they should be used as two separate systems, see https://cnd.com/sites/default/files/pdf/product-profiles/Creative-Play-Gel-Polish-FAQ.pdf for more information and Q&As.

    Gel nail embellishments

I use CND shellac and foils a lot, and the sticky layer is perfect for dabbing foils into it, for that kind of crackled effect. For full coverage, or if I try to get a whole patterns transferred I always use foil glue.

    Best hard builder gel?

Sweet Squared is the distributor for LE in the UK.

    Best hard builder gel?

I use CND Brisa and more recently Light Elegance. I have to say I really like LE at the moment, and have had nothing but positive experiences using their products.

    Fine nail art brushes

as cideralla I really like the Crystal Nails brushes, especially my Barbara brush. I also have some super nice "normal" art brushes, but they don't tend to come with caps which is quite annoying I find.

    Air bubbles in my acrylic

I remember watching this video, by young nails using YN products. It might be useful to you if you haven't watched it already.

    Hard gel training

I trained with Sweet Sqaured in the Brisa gel enhancement system. I really rate their training and they now offer Light Elegance training as well, should you be more interested in that gel system.

    Finish filing?

I finish file using a hand file, but I don't do designs like ciderella so i rarely need to debulk a lot. :) On myself when my application can be very sloppy, or when I'm experimenting, I sometimes use my e-file to remove excess product to then continue with my hand file routine. I use an e-file...

    Finish filing?

    I use a hand file!

    Gel polish disappearing when applying

If it's the colour coat shrinking from on top the base coat, I believe Gelish recomends you dry brush the cured base coat before applying your colour to eliminate shrinkage.

    Blending colours

I use a ombre brush, or a small detailer brush, the trick with any blending though is to not be heavy handed!

Has anyone been on a CND L&P course recently?

Honestly, you'll love it, no need to stress about it! :)
