    I'm currently studying at level 2 since jan we have been doing our colouring unit. My tutor has advised us to use 30ml of colour as a start off point then to mix more of needed. And 20ml for a 1cm root regrowth. So far this has worked well for us, hope this can help.

    The only thing we covered where: How to prep the nails How apply acrylic nails how to maintain them (infills) It may seem very little covered but it's hard when you start out level 3 offered gel nails, gel polish, nail art and fiberglass. But you can do separate courses for all of those too. X

    I'm just doing a coating of gel over the acrylic. My tutor taught us how to in the lesson. Currently waiting for the gel course to start. And I'm not insured no. But I'm only doing them on my friends nails (for practice) however i am trained for acrylic as stated I've just finished my course.

    Try your local college if you have one. Some of them doing night classes. That's what I have done my course is 16 week's long 1 night a week. I've nearly finished just two weeks to go.
