    SNS acrylic or gel?

I am not taking this personally at all, nor am I arguing for argument's sake. I am just irritated that you continue to spread incorrect information and state it as fact. As I mentioned previously, spreading incorrect infomation is detrimental to our industry, an industry which I am very...

    SNS acrylic or gel?

You're buying into the marketing and taking it one step further by misunderstanding what they're stating. SNS does not claim to be made from all natural ingredients. They use the term 'organically processed chemicals'. I don't need to write to them and ask, I know how to read and understand a...

    SNS nails

Come on now, this is just laughable. I suggest you familiarise yourself with the relevant Safety Data Sheets for this product that you've rehashed old threads, just to promote. The powder is certainly an acrylic, poly ethyl methacrylate (cas 9003-42-3), to be precise, which also happens to be...

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong with Gelish nails here?

It looks like her eponychium is thick and jagged, and in trying to avoid painting the skin, your line at the eponychium is also jagged. I'd really encourage your client to be using cuticle oil religiously and for you to focus on a good cuticle clean up. Much easier to paint a nice smooth line at...

Gel polish/glitter match to client pic

Glad I could help, it's one of my favourites. And Margarita's Nails used predominantly Light Elegance before she became a Vetro educator, so I'm very confident that's what it is. Here's a photo of my pot, the pics on Google don't seem very accurate.

    Wedding nail help!

What a sweet design. I think with little flowers like that, the most difficult part is getting the petal placement correct and even. Somethimg that helps is drawing guidelines like in the pic, then forming the petals around the lines. Another way these could easily be replicated is to use a...

    Babyboomer help

I just did a couple of quick nails using hard gel, showing a couple of different pink and whites depending on the contrast wanted. I just drag the white a bit past halfway, feathering it out as I get further down the nail, then cure. Place the cover pink at the cuticle and drag up slightly...

I love the Light Elegance core, colour and glitter gels but I don't like their gel polish line.

How do you get Swarovski crystals to stay put?

I'm in Australia and order my Swarovskis from 2 local companies. I have no clue about UK distributors, sorry I couldn't be of more help.

How do you get Swarovski crystals to stay put?

Missu, based in the UK have a gel called Jewelry Gel and a no wipe top that are used in the same way as the video Jersey Jock previously posted. Wears like iron. I'm a picker and I literally cannot budge these.

Swarovski crystals on natural gel manicures

Yep, been wearing my own nails like this for the last week. The left hand accent nail is sculpted, but the right hand is natural. When they're longer and flex more, they can be more prone to coming off, but I still rarely have issues.

    Shellac, different from gel polish?

Yes, it's patented, its formula is original but that doesn't make it 'not a gel polish'. Just as various mascaras hold patents for their lengthening/thickening formulas or even their brush shape etc, it doesn't mean they're not mascaras. Cleaning products too. There could be any number of...

    Shellac, different from gel polish?

It is a gel polish. Geeg herself referred to it as a gel polish a couple of pages in to the thread that was just posted. CND's own MSDS refers to it as a gel lacquer, same as gel polish. 'Hybrid' refers to the fact it contains solvents, it's not a pure gel like for eg. Akzents Luxio. More soak...

    Why not Bluesky?

Yes, professionalism means different things to different people, techs and clients alike. To me, choosing a counterfeit brand to represent my business, isn't a decision I'm satisfied with. What is it about Bluesky that you feel makes them an industry leader?

    Why not Bluesky?

Keeping up with a changing market is one thing, devaluing and lowering the standards of our industry is another thing entirely! God help us all if Bluesky is the way "the market is changing!"

    Why not Bluesky?

Lechat is a pro only brand and has a huge range of stunning colour change gel polishes. They have also released a holo range of gel polish and a collection of metallic pigments. I'd definitely check them out if you'd a like a pro brand with some flair!
