    Has anyone come across assessors insisting on a set number of wax strips in assessment. An assessor failed my apprentice because she claimed half leg should be no more than 6 strips in total (both legs!). The next assessor we saw had never heard of it and could find no reference to it anyway

    Keratin and protein base treatments

    One of my therapists uses it and clients seem to love it. From what I could see the keratin has to be filed off but the protein base soaks off and by description does the same thing. Effectively keratin is a protein so not sure about which is better given the removal xx

    Waxing course at Capital

    I did the foundation waxing at capital in Peterborough this week. They use Just Wax' hot wax and their store brand for warm. Can't remember name. Brands we're both ok. Not so impressed with tutor. They use an external training provider. She was outdated and quite rude to learners.

    What is the difference between the keratin and protein base treatments you can get? Both seem to be to strengthen and make gel polish last longer. Which is better for use under gel polish and do you use acid or non acid primer?
