Should our business cards be scented? - 22-08-12, 11:49 PM

I popped into the bank today to deposit some money and got talking to the cashier. I handed her one of my business cards and she says: 'ooo these are pretty, looks like they should smell nice' and started smelling the card!! Definitely made me giggle and I told her I'd spray them with perfume in future

Has anyone else ever had a strange reaction to their business cards? x

Oh I like that idea! Something a bit different.
Alpina do you print your own gift certificates? Where do you get your scented paper? x

I do print my own, I make them with microsoft publisher. There's a store here called office works, they sell every kind of paper you could imagine, plus everything else under the sun. I buy a thin card that is scented and has a kind of texture/pattern on it. I think the brand of paper is 'Quill'.

Ooh great idea. Maybe have some unscented ones for people with perfume allergies if self spraying, would putting them in a tupperware box with a open bottle of essential oils scent them after a day or 2 of warm weather? Xoxo

That's a good point about allergies.
Well paper is porous so I guess it would absorb the scent, don't know how long it would last but it's a good idea! x

This is a bit silly, but cute! I just cannot stop thinking about Elle in legally blonde all her paper was scented and I do love that film.
