Hi I qualified at the beginning of this year. Fortunately I seem to have clicked with p&w (Hoorah) your nails looked like mine. I would say you have gone to thick with the product, judging from the first picture. Took me ages to perfect this. Mine used be as thick as a house brick.

According to the last pic it looks
Like you have gone a little too wet with the ratio on white as its abit see through on the tip.

I wish mine looked like this 3 months after! Smile lined are good
Mine looked more straight than smiley.

Good job xxx

You can never tell properly by a photo anyway.
I used to work to dry, so when I put the bead on I'd have to really press it down rather than pat it, more often than not I'd end up getting acrylic in my brush and it would set! Bad times!

I use the 2:2 method. Brush in the monomer, wipe the brush 2x then 2 seconds in the powder.

With the thinning of the white you should start to notice as you brush the product back towards the tip, as it goes thinner. White is difficult to perfect the consistency. I practised by doing 50 large, 50 small and 50 medium beads of both pink and white on a piece of kitchen paper to make sure they were always the same xx

The best thing is to practise on a false tip to see what happens when you place you product,

Hopefully this should help...

good video i like the idea of how she explains that once you press the bead down how the bead bounced back up and that is indicating that is a perfect consistency thats what i would look out for then
