Banners covering up forums menu & search - 19-04-05, 02:12 PM

Hi there GMG - This is lifted from a post I did - can you help, or is it just my PC settings or something

FYI - when I try and click on search at the moment the ad banner overules it so rather then letting me do a search it automatically takes me to an email to send to sales at the nail geek.

This might be something GMG wants to look at

Hi Louise, I posted this in the other thread too. Click on the forum jump at the bottom of the page and this will let you move around the site without banners getting in the way.

If you're a Premium Geek their is a facility to turn of the banners at the bottom of the edit options section. HTH

I had this problem but worked out why (I think).
At the very bottom of any page there are options:
'Contact Us' 'The Nail Geek' 'Top' and then either 'Fixed Width Style' or 'Expanded Width Style'.

When I was in expanded style then the search box (and other forum menus) come down from the top menu, but get zapped by the banner.
In fixed-width style the search options, forum menu etc etc have to open as a new page rather than a drop-down menu, and this therefore avoids being covered up by the banner.

HTHs anyone with the same problem xx
