Come on it's easy you get points for posts and lose some to people who theive. but they can lose some big points for doing it. You might even want to bank some just in case. When you have enough points you can use then to upgrade you user name to bright colours etc.

What make are the shoes? If they are Jimmy Choo's I might swap you a kidney.

And Zoe, how much do you think I should ask for the kidney on Geekbay? I don't want too appear cheap.

Kidneys are about £1.50 a pound but i think you should ask for more. Really it depends on the condition. I thought GMG did not want us to use valuable space on the Geek with this sort of stuff but he has asked for it doing this Geekmolian thing don't you think.

I've been wondering about the new idea of Geekmolians and the thread by Geeg on the main board re postings that are unnecessary... don't the two things contradict each other slightly?
if Geekio's are being rewarded for posting, surely the amount of posts will increase, therefore putting the bandwidth usage up too, obviously using up more space will cost more money and so making a vicious circle.

Sorry to everyone who wanted the kidney, which incidentally was in "nearly new condition", I have sold it to Zoe for the highest offer which was a cheese sandwich and an old pram.

I have a teenager I could swap in for Geekmolians, one carefull owner, 1987 model, not such a good runner, high maintenance costs, Full Service History, special talk back and unwanted advice feature, sold as seen. Just 100 points or very nearest offer. Please note this particular model has very good nail beds and could be useful for competition purposes.

Lets not stress about excess posts.

Where the concern needs to be is with people posting uneeded responses to threads, bumping old threads for no real reason and keeping the correct type of thread in the correct forum.

You also need to make sure that your thread titles actually mean something. This is for the similar threads section of the site AND for sanity sake when drudging through 300+ new posts a day. Many people do not have time to read even 50% of the threads. Most make their minds up about if they will look at a thread by the title.

Anyway - Im getting off topic.

Geekmolians are simply another wasy to play with the site and make it more interesting. I suspect it will not be perfect - but at least its a new and kind of fun twist on doing things here.
