Hi guys,

Can some one tell me how to refer some one on the geek site, I have some one who wants to be part of it........have sent the geek site address to her by email, is that all I have to do , or is there something else I have to do to get a referal point........if you know what I mean.

Don't think there is much more you need to do, unless there are thing I don't know about.

Your friend has to mention where it says referral that you referred her to the site.

I have someone to that wants to join, do you get extra geekmolians if they mention your name then?

i think you do yes, they have to put your member name in where requested on their registration form.

Since this site has been started I have referred loads of people to this site but I haven`t had anyone acknowledge this when they join
I only found out a little while ago what the referral meant, lol

I thought it was only me. I think the person has to say when they sign up that they have been referred.

You're quite right NailNovice. If the person doesnt mention your name when signing up, you havent referred them. (according to the statistics)

The best thing to do in my opinion... Are you listening Debs? ... is: Please take note that this could be a tricky and dangerous operation which may result in fat lips, hefty fines and/or prison terms.


1, Refer your friend to the site.

2, At the same time, pinch (temporarily steal) something of value to them. This could be their wallet, credit cards, bus pass, pension book, car, etc.

3, Remove yourself from the danger zone (this is any location where your friend could strike and maim you when they find out what you've done).

4, Get yourself into a secure location asap. This location must have a pc and an internet connection. Cyber cafe is good, your own house is bad.... it's the first place the cops will start looking for you.

5, Make contact with your friend via telephone giving them exact instructions as to what to do:

"I've got your pension book. If you ever want to see it again, you'd better do exactly as I say. Go to The Nail Geek........ alone. I see any cops, your pension book's had it! Register as a new Geek, make sure you put my name down as the referrer. Dont try any funny stuff, I'm watching everything you do online. You've got 5 minutes to comply..... time starts now!"

Hang up. Log into The Geek site and see if your friend has put you in as his/her referrer. If he/she has, simply send them a PM telling them where and when the pension book can be picked up. Voilá

Glo, if you're reasonably confident that your students are gonna participate in the site, why not do the 'sign up' for them yourself? Then when they sign in the next time, all they have to do is change their password and away they go. Just an idea....
