Gallery Space - 07-03-06, 11:09 PM

why is it I can only have in my Gallery 6 photo's at a time & some Geeks have 4 pages of photo's ?????

I am a premium Geek.

Am i doing something wrong????
Any advice will be appreciated.

I think its to do with what size your pictures are not how many, if you look you have 10 megabytes, or something, for gallery images so if you upload a pictures that you have not reduced in size it will take up more space.

I know what I am talking about but difficult to explain.

OMG - i am more confused now lol, so how do i reduce the size before putting them in my gallery???

do you hsve any image editing software?
you can do it on that ..
theres a few posts ive seen in the past abt it i htink Seanny did something and so did gmg abt reducing photos... try the search hunnio

I only found out how to do this yesterday by searching. But if you open you picture up then right click your mouse, click edit and then your picture will open up in paint.

Go to images and click on stretch/Skew and then reduce the percentage buttons (top two) I do it down to 21%

Once done save it and then upload it and it will take up a lot less space

Sorry just asumed you are using windows, hope so, and sorry again if I have confused you. tired, been up since six and just done my first set of sculpts on client so feeling fuzzy

Sorry but I am probably starting to waffle, but if you click onto the upload button to upload you image, the next page that comes up has different catagories and one will say stats and in this should be how much space you have and how much you have used, here is a copy of mine

You have used a total of 2.53 MB space out of 10.00 MB space allowed.
You have 7.47 MB space remaining.


At least you will be able to see if this is why you are having the problems.

Going to bed now, before I GEEK myself into exhaustion

THANK YOU SOOOOO MUCH FOR THAT INFO!!!!!
I have downloaded Infranview and all sorts of other stuff to try to resize blooming photo's and i've been pulling my hair out as nothing has been very explanatory!

I was trying last night to change the file size of a pic & almost resorted to throwing my PC through the window
