I have just looked at someones profile and noticed a link that says "download v card", what is this and how do you have one?

V-Card stands for 'Virtual (business) Card'.
Its a pretty standard format for porting about peoples contact details (i.e. Email address and user name)
For instance... I can download my v-card and import it into Outlook, or most other email programs as it automatically imports it as a contact.

To allow users to download your V-Card... you must enable it in your profile under Edit options.
Please be aware that people will then be able to see your email address.

Thanks Samuel, not sure I like the idea of having a virtual business card. I certainly have more than my share of junk mail and don`t want to do anything to willingly add to it
