How do the 'ratings' work on topics posted??

And who 'rates' them??

I've posted a couple of topics and when I have gone to look at them, they have stars!!!

I think I might be ready to be promoted to a team leader at McDonalds with all the stars I've got now! ha ha

At the top of the thread you are reading (below the navigation bar, but above the text for the topic) is a pull down menu to rate the thread.
If it has a rating, you will see the stars it has there, if it hasnt been rated, you will see 'Rate this thread'.
The amount of stars is the average of all the ratings given to that thread by members. It is supposed to point out worth while (and not so worth while) threads to other users.

Thanks for that, I've never rated any topics before, will give it a whirl from now on and use it!
