i have some unconfirmed p.ms in my folder. does that mean that they never arrived at their destination, or the person just has not read them.

Either the person HASN'T read them OR the person has chosen NOT to click on the 'confirmation message'!! I am afraid I am one of those - hate that message and ignore it all the time
