Re: banned? -

Fionas right. Once I ban someone, it then changes the title under their name to 'Banned'. Though I remove the bulk of the ridiculous posts, most I leave for either the readability of the thread, or because there may sometimes be some merit to the actual post (though this sadly is very rare, hence the ban).

BTW: These bozos that are getting banned are also getting their IP address banned. That means for those that keep returning under new names, they have to also go to a new computer
After today... they wont even be able to get on the site... instead they will be forwarded to an address they will find more useful |

Well most of us know where this guy is from and all the 'trouble makers' are in fact mostly one person or persons roped in to do his very dirty work.
Trading standards indeed! His view is not the view of the majority of the members of this site as has been amply testified. If we don't agree with his view and it is OUR (the members) site then what is his problem. He spouts untruths and downright rediculous information ... when he does manage to supply info it is usually relating to something which has nothing to do with nails!! |

Man alive... go out and do something constructive for the industry for a change.
500 refs to Creative? out of almost 30,000 posts? Get a life. Bring on Trading Standards... They will be very interested in your work. I tire of chasing you around this site constantly registering under other names, sending my lawyers to go send Cease and Desist letters because you try and pass off as myself. Dont you have something better to do? i.e. Service your 30,000 customers? |

I like the idea, but it is just faster for me to ban them and their IP address. I end up deleting most of the posts, some are simply left for continuity sake. It is best to ignore the post and notify me via the 'Report bad post' icon in the upper roght corner of the post in question.
I have finally finished the 'nifty ban'. For users wanting to try out the experience of being banned (without actually being banned)... try clicking here-> http://www.thenailgeek.com/banned.html I myself am quite pleased with it |
