I only used the rep system to give out positives as i only felt the need to give positive reps. I also only ever received positive ones!

Its a shame the whole system has to go for the sake of a few geeks abusing it but it is more than likely for the best and i'm sure the decision to get rid was given a lot of thought.

I just noticed too! ........as said a shame it had to happen and there are those individuals who will never be-able to controll themselves.......I'm a member of another site as well and they had to do a similar thing and leave out there comment section on the gallery because of child like behavior......a shame that peeps ruin a good thing just because 'their un-happy"

DANGIT! I spent alot of time and effort kissing tail and posting thoughtful and expressive posts to get the rep I had! I had made it all the way to MR. T!!!!!

Now I have to go about posting drivel, and being mean to others.


Why oh why must particular people behave in such an unbecoming manner that requires the removal of such fabulous toys?

And I think the PDA is beautimous. Don't worry guys, someone will give a good "X" rating before anything innappropriate pops out.

I was just wondering where the little blue boxes had gone , but now I know.

It seems a shame though that the actions of the minority who use this site, have effectively spoiled it for the rest.

That said, if it makes life a lot easier for everyone concerned, then I'm all for it.

Yes, tis a shame when people are lame enough to take hidden stabs at others on the site because it makes them feel more 'powerful' but IMO, its even lamer when people attach so much 'power' to some dough ass giving them negative rep points. If the idiot is lame enough to take pot shots, then why should their opinion be any more significant than a fart in the Sahara?

BTW, I suppose the spell checker is your friend when you run the risk of getting quoted so many times in a thread

I am sorry to see the system go. While I think it was often used 'wrongly' and in a personal manner with negs being 'personal' as opposed to "that was negative post" or "wrong info posted" etc.., I'm sorry that I can't continue going about repping those that provide me with great info, smiles and chuckles on a regular basis.
And in all honesty, I was always "chuffed" to see a new rep point on my list and on days when I was glum, a new pos rep always brought out the sun.

Yup, I knew what "speaking whale" was from (I have a 3 & 5 yr old... TRUST ME, I can recite the whole script by heart lol) I just wasn't sure what on earth it was supposed to mean in terms of reputation LOL
