the thread about the loss of our reputation system has got me wondering.
i know that moderators can read the messages that were sent with the reputation points.
so how private are private messages, can mods read them too , or are they just between the sender and reciever.

I think Sam could read them if he wanted to but I'm sure he has better things to do with his time.

Pm's are private. Only Sam as the adminstrator has the ability to see everything that goes on with this site, but I can see him having neither the time or the inclination to do so. Even if we as moderators could see them, how does the saying go? You never read good about yourself when you pry! (or summink like that)

In order to do something like that, I would need to look through the database itself. It could be done - but it is some serious work especially when you consider that there are almost as many private messages as posts here.

lol, i like that saying I wouldnt be too concerned..its freedom of speech done privately and off the boards which must be appreciated.
