MODS can make certain threads Sticky if they wish ... it just means that those threads of higher importance and are less likely to be lost amongst the rest.

It basically means that the thread is "stuck" to the top of that particular forum and doesn't move down the ranks like other threads do. It usually menas it is an important thread and thus makes it easier to find.
