Bidding on geekbay -

I just bid on something on geekbay and instead of the amount I put in, it has come up as 25p!!!!
 I wouldn't insult anyone by offering 25p for anything, I made a decent bid, can anyone tell me why this has happened? I'd hate to upset anyone.

Hi, yes I've just entered £12.00 again and it says "cannot bid lower than current bid
 - what, of 25p lol! Obviously something up, I've pm'd the geek concerned anyways x
