I just cant reproduce this.
Any time you do a search (i.e. click a link that takes you to salongeek.com/search.php) it records the time you last used the search. By default, the search engine wont let you use it more than every 30 seconds because it is so resource intensive. In essence it is a security feature that prevents hackers from taking sites down by simply spamming their search mechanisms. What you can try is to clear all cookies and offline content though I dont know if that will honestly help. In the end, as long as the search page isnt being accessed (i.e. View users posts, whats new, etc...) then you shouldnt come across the error. HTHs! |

Another thing to try:
Download Fire Fox (Firefox web browser | Faster, more secure, & customizable) and see if that helps. There MAY be an issue with IE double clicking hyperlinks however I suspect it would be more like a user error as I cant reproduce. Still looking into it... |

I only get it when I click to see anything new in the last 24hrs, even if I only just came in. I can wait a minute in the morning after seeing the message and sometimes then it takes me to all the new posts, quite often though it tells me I have to wait another 30 seconds.
I could install Firefox but its baffling because it didn't start happening until the updates/upgrades. ![]() |

The only time I will get that message when doing 'whats new' is if I double click the link. When you double click, you are essentially submitting your search the first click and then resubmitting on the second click - hence why that could happen.

Well I cant speak for everyone but I'm not double clicking Sam. I did just clear my temp files, cookies etc but when I logged back in and clicked the everything new tab I had to wait 30 seconds. I'm in the forums now by the other menu and just browsing each forum individually. Not such a hardship really
