I seem to be gathering rep points and Vanessa tells me they can be positive or negative.

I can see why I'm getting rep in user control panel but can't see what I'm scoring for what and whether they are positive or negative.

Also I'd like to know how to give rep points please.

The only members who are able to give negative reputation are the administrators and moderators. This is due to misuse of the rep system a while back.

To give rep to someone you click the green box on their post, write your comment and click 'add to reputation'.

To see which post you've received rep for click on the thread link on your User CP page.

I know you said anyone else and not wishing to hijack the thread but maybe one question that might enlighten me as well as some other geeks and then I promise to go have some tea...

1) If a fellow geek gives posative feedback how many points is that?

2)If a mod gives a neagative feedback how many points lost is that and are there different points lost dependant upon the severety of the crime committed?

3)If Sam gives a negaive feedback do we loose a limb as well as brownie points??..and if so do we pick which limb we are willing to loose or does he

I can feel another rep point comming up for you if you answer correctly within a reasonable time scale

You can only rep the same person again if you rep another 9 members in between, you're only able to rep 10 members in any 24 hour period, so get repping LOL

I learned something new today, I didn't know mods could give negative reps. I learned it here by the way, I didn't manage to pee anyone off that badly yet, well not that I know of anyway!

so while I wait for the rice to boil..(it's curry tonight) which mod is the most wicked witch of the land that has the most negative feedback point allowance ???

Maybe you should have some kind of power bar ..maybe red above all your avators...you know like the power rangers kind of thing..... just so us mortals can watch out who REALLY not to upset
