There has been no turnaround in signature rules to my knowledge, so if anyone has edited their signatures recently and are now in contravention of the following thread then they need to be changed.

It is a little confusing as where does the point of crossing the line begin and end.
An individuals web site link is no different to say a distributors link in theory...likewise a link saying "come train with me" or "come buy my lurvley sexy products pleeeeeeeeeeeeese by clicking here now"clearly is advertising ![]() In the avoidance of any confusion of the rules it might be better to act on the safe side and don't show anything. Whilst trying to remove my old signature this morning I came across a dandy setting Geeks can hit so that all signatures are filtered from view Go into "my profile" select "edit options"-scroll down to "thread Display Options" and deselect "show signature" option........all signatures on all postings (as far as you are concerned) disappear HTH |

I think we are being bogged down here by semantics. What we want to stop is people placing banner ads in their signatures as opposed to paying for banner advertising. Why should some people pay for banner ads and some seem to be getting it free.
Please read the thread link above as it is quite clear what is and what is not allowed. A link to your website is allowed but a large picture banner add ramming it down peoples throats everytime you post, is not allowed. We are trusting people here to abide by the rules so please check your signatures and make sure they comply with the rules. If in doubt please ask a Moderator by PM. |

I was simply talking about the signature that look like banner ads. For the record, I wasn't complaining, I was actually hoping that the rules had changed and we were allowed to use them again. But they haven't so that's that. |
