do i have to delete it an re-write?? im very new and clueless. any advice gratefully received

You can't move any of your posts/threads, you need to ask a moderator to do it for you, or, as you said, you can delete it and re-write it in the correct thread/forum.

Send me a private message of which thread/post you need moving and I'll do it for you

This is referring to a blog entry which should be in the forums so it cant be moved even by us LOL.
