Is hard wax best for delicate areas?? - 03-10-09, 12:45 PM

Hi

I currently use the PHD safewax system as it is the most hygienic on the market, but I struggle sometimes using it on intimate areas because it can be very sticky which pulls the skin too much.

I have tried the clean & easy brazillian hard wax and couldn't get on with it at all as it took too long to set and seemed to be just as painful for the client upon removal!

One client mentioned that she had some waxing done in France recently and they used a pliable pink wax but I can't find what it is. Can anyone help??

Many thanks

Thank you, I have read a few reviews about the Perron Rigot wax on here and it seems like good stuff!
I don't suppose you know if it can be used in the clean & easy hard wax heater? if not I will have to sell that one!

I would think it could. Most people on here use the large hive heaters.I guess it would depend how much you were doing as the clean and easy are quite small. The perron is spread a lot thinner than the clean and easy traditional hot wax though so you don't use anywhere near as much.

I would suggest the Perron Rigot, EUROBLONDE over the Eurose.

You can use Perron Rigot waxes in any heater. xxx

You can pretty much use any wax in any heater except for the fact you need a suitable container. For instance, Perron Rigot non-strip waxes come in pellet form, as do Berins. Therefore you need an empty tin to put the pellets in. The Clean and Easy brazilian wax heater is actually a slightly strange size and not easily compatible with other systems. I do own a Clean and Easy heater, I will see if I have an empty bucket that fits it and let you know.

Thank you all for your help... its so nice to talk to other professionals in the industry especially when you have been a sole trader for the last 8 years!
I will definately try the Perron Rigot 'EUROBLONDE' .. I'm guessing that its a creamier wax in comparison to the Clean + Easy so hopefully will be much easier to use.

Thanks Zoë, I was wondering if I could pour the wax straight into the Clean and Easy brazilian heater but I think you're right, I would need a seperate tin. That would be fantastic if you know of where I could get hold of a tin that may fit into it

Defintely don't pour wax directly into the heater! PM me your address and I will send you a tin

sukar pots are also good for Perron Rigot beads of wax - 02-11-09, 10:41 AM

Yes thats true and you can also use Sukar pots, they are jolly hardy ie I use empty ones to heat the PR pellets in my heater. I use mostly sugar but for ladies with Polycystic ovarian syndrome, some mens's bits and other things that may present themselves, I use Perron Rigot, its great stuff, I am lucky enough to be able to use both products although Sugaring always comes first.
