Hi everyone! Was wondering whether to do a training course in X-en tan or Sienna x.Does anyone know which is the most popular and cost effective? Also what is the tan that most celebs use?Don't want to use anything that looks orange or smells awful. Thanks Rache xxx

Xen Tan all the way for me. The celebs love it and I love it! It has olive undertones so there's no hint of orange afterwards. I've just got all the additional Xen Tan products and they are absolutely fantastic too (especially the face bronzer!).

Hope this Helps

I have tried both and definately prefer Xen-Tan
One thing that sienna gave me was an incredibly bad itch and i have heard others complain of this, and the outcome colour was a bit too orangy looking.
Xen-Tan, one colour suits all solution is great and i have sprayed very pale people to naturally meditteranean dark olive skin types and have had satisfied clients. It smells lush and lasts a long time
As far as turning orange goes there is not one product out there that can guarantee you that you cant go orange, its purely up to the individual and how their skin reacts to DHA (however i think those that dont react well are few and far between)
Transform and Dark Lotion are great retail products. Their customer service and mailshots/offers are great

xen tan or sienna - 13-10-09, 09:04 PM

Why dont you contact both companies and get them to come out and do demos of their products and discuss training and customer support options with you?

All reputable companies will be willing to send a rep out to you to tan you at home so you can see the results fo the tan on yourself.

Might make it easier for you to make a decision.

I think you should try both and decide for yourself all companies will send out samples and the only way you'll know the difference between the solutions is if you try them yourself at least that way even if you go with the reccommended one then you'll have experienced the results of others too. hth's x

I have to second Vindy's comments. Sienna x is a fantastic brand to be involved with. But i am biased as i have never used xen-tan.

I love xen-tan on me, (fair, blonde) but am unsure if it would be dark enough for some of my clients. I use sienna at the mo, but I have had someone say that they thought it had an orangey tinge to it. Most of my clients love sienna though x

I had to make the same decision myself and went with Sienna X as the company seemed more professional to deal with. I liked Xen tan beacuse of the celebrity following but once I had completed my training with Sienna X I realised I had made the right decision, I have not had any problems with the company or any of the tans that I have done all my clients love it too. If I do have any problems then I know the trainer is available to e-mail/ call if needed. Hope this helps

ok so ive now tried them both am am bit undecided i think both are good. xen tan is more olive tone and has nice colour and smell to it but when i did my face and neck and put makeup on next day my make up didnt match whereas sienna it does its a slightly more orangey warm colour but by no means ORANGE at all. and sienna smells nice too when colour was wearing off they both wore off the same nice even and not patchy i used 10% sienna.

I describe sienna as a golden tan, which matches my skin tone beautifully, as i naturally tan to a golden shade in the sun. It all comes down to personal choice x
