I would try to offer something as relaxing as possible without the need for massage. Maybe -
manicure & pedicure adapted, perhaps paraffin wax instead of massage how about mini facial with nail paint and polish during mask application instead of massage make up session hth X |

i did a charity day offering beauty treatments at an organized event, most ladies were cancer patients so we strictly stuck to manicures and pedicures no parafin wax or cuticle nipping as they can bleed easier as their skin is thinner, and no massage. every thing done carefully. and makeup, and thats it. i think these are the safest treatments to do x

I've got a Think Pink event on atm in the salon. Details are in the link: Beauty Salon Felixstowe, Ipswich, Waxing, Facials, Pamper Parties, Eye Treatments - Welcome...
Mine is pitched at non-cancer clients but funds raised will be going to our local support group. hth's |

There is no indication really to not offer a paraffin hand wax. Can be very relaxing for the individual and therefore quite a therapeutic experience. I think really that is overly cautious. However, I understand if you do not feel comfortable with it. I guess as a nurse, I can make that call. But again, think of the benefits to the client at a stressful time in their life.
