Cheesy Questions about Botox - 20-10-09, 11:46 AM

Hi,
Im new on here and some questions about Botox. How do i go about being able to perform Botox on Clients, I have researched on the internet but im getting nowhere, some say you dont need a recognised qualification and other say you need to train as a nurse? Can somebody please point me in the right direction.

xx

Hiya. Contact Wigmore Medical who train and supply the Botox etc.

You will fina one or two companies who will train you if you're not a qualified nurse, but most want you to be either a doc or a nurse (as do Wigmore Medical).

There was a company that was training therapists (not sure of the name), but I was told that they charged a fortune for their equivalent of Botox.

Let us know if you find anyone though as we'd ALL love to be able to do Botox and Fillers xxx

Hey hun - its illegal to administer botox if you are not a prescribing proffessional i.e all doctors, some dentists and a few nurses. You need to be uber careful xx I personally think that doctors are your best bet then your covered - thats what we use

No reputable training company will provide you with training unless your medically qualified in the first place (i.e. Nurse, Dentist, Doctor).

More importanly NOONE will insure you to practise.

DO NOT HAVE BOTOX DONE BY ANYONE WHO IS NOT MEDICALLY QUALIFIED, AND FULLY INSURED.

Wrong. Botox is prescription only and only a prescriber can prescribe it, but a qualified medical professional can administer.
