Mobile Couch ...which one? - 25-10-09, 12:35 AM

Hi All

I am currently doing beauty therapy level 2 and I would like to know if any one can recommend a good quality couch, either mobile or for a home salon

And also how much would you expect to pay for a decent good quality couch?

Thanks
Vicky

I need a couch too! - 10-11-09, 10:40 PM

I am the same as you Bridget. I have just done level 2 and am looking for a couch. Loads on ebay but which to choose!

I was looking at COMBI-LITE 3in1 but apparently it weighs a ton even if does fold up.

Any advice anyone?

Get the lightest couch possible for mobile!!
The couch factory do one that weighs 10kgs.
You can search for pasts posts about this, there are lots of opinions and recommendations there.

Ditto the above, choose the lightest one available! Mine is 12kg as it has a flip back and you wont find a portable one lighter with a flip-back. It is carryable but any heavier and you are definitely looking at having back problems after a period of time.
I brought mine on Ebay, cost £110 inc. delivery and its fab. It was a shop called 'feel good'.

I was looking at this one on ebay Wooden Portable Beauty Couch Massage Table / Bed NEW on eBay (end time 15-Dec-09 08:25:45 GMT)

can anyone advise on any pros and cons for it, i arent really concerned about the weight as I won't be going mobile with it, we have had a loft conversion and I have turned that into my nail and beauty room

I live in York too and I would be able to collect this one

Thanks

I got a 10kg flip back one off ebay for £80 inc p&p.

Always go for the lightest you can to save your back
