I spray tanned a client this morning but I hadn't really noticed that her hair was wet because she had it up in a bun. Only she'd just washed it and while I was spraying her front, the water in her hair was trickling down her newly-sprayed back ...... I just dabbed it dry, buffed it with a buffing mitt and did a quick light mist over the dribble lines. I too am hoping for the best tomorrow xxx

Hi Jenx, please dont keep us in suspence any longer!! Was it ok??? lol!!!
I sprayed I very very pale girl in the summer who had her mother with her. Halfway thru the tan I heard her mum crying as the tan was being applied!!!! OMG I thought what am I doing wrong. It turns outs that because of her daughters paleness she had never been allowed in the sun and was crying with sheer joy at seeing her daughter looking healthy. Next thing the girl starts cryin!!!!! NIGHTMARE!!! The upshot was she had to go and wash it off and start again. But she was fine in the morning. I guess a brolly is a pre-requisite in our climate eh! ![]() Did you charge her by the way, as it was her fault really?? |

xxJust actually sent her a text to see how it turned out. I was a bit nervous as I gave her the velocity tan which she had left on over night I really should have charged her, but not confident I had my gun on the right setting so didn't. I did say though that if she wants a respray the next time, due to darkness of colour, I will have to charge her. No more freebies. Hopefully it was just my gun though. So the respray ended up more because it wasn't dark enough, rather than the spots lol. I can't even begin to imagine how dark she is with 2 coats of the velocity on lol. Jen x |
