Difference in Non surgical face lift machines! -
02-11-09, 12:53 PM
Hi geeks,
I wonder if there is a big difference in non surgical face lift machines? The prices are so different. I am thinking of buying one for ages now, but just can't make my mind up. Does the treatment really work? My mum had a session of 12 treatments and thought it did nothing for her. I am afraid to buy an expensive machine which gets no results. Which brand is known to be the best? Are the chipper ones much less effective or do they all do the same? Please help me, I know there are much information on that one, but I am still confused and not convinced it is a money maker machine. What do you think?

Thank you for your replies. Yes, Caci is a very well known brand, but it costs a lot. There is one on sale in Dublin, it is 3 months old and she is looking for something around 10 grand for it. But I need training and would much rather go with brand new one. There is another one by Silhouette, it is a good unit also, and it is much chipper, it is a tricky one.

As to cheaper machines, there's often a reason why these things are cheap - you need only look at the cheap faradic machines! |

Hi, I spoke to a guy on the CACI stand at the show about renting a machine and for their top one it worked out at only £15 a day bargain! They rang me a couple of days after with a demo machine that was even cheaper!!!
They definatley are the ones to go with xx |

Thanks guys,
I just red a bit about CACI Ultra on Martin's web site. Goh, sounds too good to be true. Does it really work on acne, if it does why only on the back, I would think the skin is the same every where ![]() ![]()

It does also work on acne on the back (it's on the facial CACI page under the Healing treatment); it uses blue light to kill the acne bacteria (you can search on blue light in acne treatment), along with microcurrent to help skin healing & ultrasound to encourage the removal of dead skin cells that exacerbate blocked pores, but unlike microdermabrasion it isn't aggressive on what is often quite sensitive skin. I've had very good results with this, and have combined glycoloic acid peels with ultrasound for deeper penetration, which has also given good results (see sonophoresis research). With stretch marks it only helps with those that are already pink, and with scarring it helps reduce them, but is less successful on older scars. Hope that helps.
If you have any questions, contact CACI direct & they'll normally send you medical papers concerning these things; well they always have when I've asked! |

Martin, just a quick few questions for you? Are your clients happy with the results? Can you see a face lift like results? Are they coming back to maintain the results? Thanks

I've never had anyone unhappy with the results - but I never promise miracles (obviously it can't get rid of excess sagging skin or remove wrinkles) & I take before & after pictures. I think by keeping expectations realistic the clients are often more impressed, especially when it rids them of their hooded eyelids etc. I've never had a single person who hasn't continued the monthly maintanance treatments following the course.
