Hi, We use the PHD larger unit to the jpod at college and I must admit i prefer the pot and spatula method for a few reasons; the wax and applicators are expensive and only available to buy from ellisons, the wax seems to go cold much quicker and I always burn my hands on the tubes as the come out of the chambers

Hi hunnie.......... I love the PHD wax and im a very very happy user .... I personally think the cross-contamination risk is greatly reduced with this system and you can charge a little more because of the hygine aspect... I would recc training to get the full idea of proper usage most ppl just buy the system and dont get trained and thats where a lot of problems lye...In regards to cost it is a little more pricey but as i sd you can charge a little more also its less messsy less cleaning to be done no drips...There is a mesh that you get int he packs to prevent burning the hands ...which i always use... I have had the jpod but prefer the larger system i have now ...jpod would do for small areas but if i had a fleg bikini underarm id be stuppered!!! I love the PHd so much now i personally would not go to anyone whom doesnt use it ....
The wax goes on thinner as well not thick and gloopy .... all this will be in your training... Hope this helps xx There is no other wax system on the market that is as safe as the PHD as it has a unique anti-backflow gate ( meaning if the product touches the skin it wont go back in ) there is other designs like it but theres no valve on them also PHd does differnt size heads for different areas x |
