Refreshers course - 31-01-10, 08:59 PM

hi,
does any one know where or how to do a refresher course for beauty? im in the west sussex area and having trouble finding courses
if anyone knows of any it will be really help full

Hi,perhaps the better option would be to phone round your local salons and ask for a work experience placement!!

Hi I remember feeling I needed this when I came back to beauty after a number of years. But after practicing loads on family Reading lots on here to feel more upto date, and just refreshing in the odd thing like an advanced waxing course and the same in massage. Adding spray tanning and a couple of other single courses my confidence came right back. Take your time offer the things you feel comfortable doing to start. Then add on new ones as you go. Hth. Going to have some treatments yourself can be helpful too. Try and get to the beauty shows that are coming up soon and book on to some of the workshops they do.
When you take up certain products they will sometimes come with training manuals and dvds or even free training so if you haven't decided on your products it will be worth you looking for those that do this.
