Yes, Lou is correct. It is a requirement of the COSHH regs that MSDS are available for all products. You should just be able to phone up the supplier and get them sent/faxed to you. xx

Thank you Louise.......If I'd have had something in writing to take with me I'd have argued the point with them....I'll have a look at the Habia site.
At the moment I need to get info from Combinal (for tints and peroxide) there are no UK contact details on their website.........Looking on the sites for the other products I have at the moment they do have UK contacts so will give these a call/email on Monday. Thanks again, you're a star x |

By law distributors and suppliers of dangerous substances and chemicals have to provide MSDS, to the trade, for free.
If a supplier is preventing you from keeping your legal responsibilities, by not providing MSDS, I would either shop somewhere else or talk to your councils health and safety department. |
