Question Fake Bake Spray Tanning Kit - 23-07-10, 10:41 AM

I am booked on a Fake Bake tanning course soon and they have an offer on to buy the kit of the pop up tent, spray gun and solution on the day.

I wanted to know if anyone has used this kit before and if it was ok?
I will be going mobile so will this be convenient? It also seems to be a good price.

Any ideas or advise would be great, Thanks.

Hiya,

I did my training with fake bake back in June and I bought the kit on offer. It's brilliant I love it. Only thing is it only comes with the darker solution so I had to purchase a bottle of the original solution on top as well as oil free moisturiser and marketing material (record cards, pre/post tan advice slips etc.). All this of these extra bits I got from their trade website as I set up an account with them on my training day. So you may want to think about the extra bits too including disposable pants & hairnets etc as this can bump up your initial outlay.

Overall though, I love my kit and would not swap it for anything!

Good luck with your spray tanning x

That's brilliant news!

I will find out the extra costs then for the other bits.
Is it easy to use whilst mobile also?

Thanks so much.

Hiya

Yes it isexcellent for mobile use. It's very compact and the tent comes with a bag so you can carry it around. I'd suggest getting yourself a big plastic box/tub or a cheap suitcase to transport all your bits in. I also bought some black towels to line the bottom of the tent with and for me to stand on at the front of the tent to protect the clients floor.

A x

Hi, I did my training in London a couple of weeks ago, ordered the start up kit and there is a 4-6 week wait on the Peb-l! Arggh! And I have clients waiting for a tan!! Also, by the time I had added the 'extras' on, like lighter solution, advice slips, sticky feet etc it was near enough £350, and then ther's VAT(!)so be aware that it can mount up quite quickly!! But it was good fun and the tan lasted very well on me..
