I agree with Francesca....whilst we do patch tests to find allergies before the treatment anyone can develop allergies against anything anywhere...so there is no guarantee given just because someone doesnt react when the patch test is doen that the same person wont react a week, a month or a year later......
All you can do is try and find out which product she reacted to....with lashes there is various products used and it might just be one of them and if you can find out you can maybe use an alternative product instead

hey geeks, i know people can have reactions at any time ect, i just dont understand how they can have a reaction to semi permenant lashs as the glue does not touch the skin of the client...
can anyone help me out here???xx |

I assume its because lashes are synthetic and some people are allergic to things that are not natural. Although the lashes don't touch the skin where they are adhered, they would touch skin when blinking or eyes shut. Perhaps its that.

You are right, the adhesive doesn t touch the skin but depending on the adhesive you use it could be the fumes or other products, ie primer, make up remover etc you are using?
