PCOS and skin -

I have a client with PCOS who has decided not to take medication for it. She sometimes get sensitive skin, has alot of clogged pores and few spots. Her skin is sensitive to benzoyl peroxide.
Her skin is constantly clogged. She has excellent skincare regime at home. I tries to have monthly facials, on occassions she has them fortnightly. How are you tackling PCOS skin problems? Would appreciate an independant response and not brand specific advice. |

I have PCOS and the best thing for it is too eat healthily and try to keep excess weight down and avoid too many sugary foods, as this can agrevate the symptoms. I do however take the contraceptive pill to help with my skin.

The only thing you can do with underlying conditions is treat the condition itself rather than its effects. If you have a condition that causes a problem with your skin then anything you do to treat the skin will always be problematic until you treat the actual condition itself.
All suggestions you could probably hear will only be short term solutions I'm afraid. x |
