Thank you all for your help. I just called the teacher and she told me "the squeezing of spots is not taught, but that when you have a client the only spots you sould try and get rid of is blackheads" Shame they didn't teach it too me at the time but on the other hand its not that difficult to do as we have all had a few blackheads in our time!!!

Thanks again!!!

Sassy, which company did you go with for your one to one stuff and do they do different treatments? I'd be really interested in learning this way too. Pm me if you can't post!!

Have to say I'm with Minkus on this one. I started the NVQ Facials eve class in Jan 1 night a wk 3hrs & it ends in June. Given how much we've had to learn there's no way that I could do that in 1 day. I guess it depends on what you want to gain from it & what you'll do with it. Personally I'd rather do the longer course & know it all inside & out once qualified but that's me.

Sassy, I know exactly how you feel about the make up. I did the NVQ make up unit & didn't feel I'd learnt much from it (any knowledge I'd gained was from selling make up). I've nearly completed a year long 1 day a wk Fashion Photographic Make Up course & have to say that with lots of practise you will get there. I didn't practise for ages & didn't improve at all. As soon as I started wacking the make up on people I became more comfortable with it & am improving no end. I also look at mag covers & have the confidence to be able to recreate them myself which I couldn't before. Stick with it & you'll be fine
