Placing first Perron Rigot order -
18-01-12, 11:46 AM
Hi Geeks
In need of a little help. I have done a search but would still like some advice. I am just about to place my first Perron Rigot order (excited!) but need some info on the what exactly I need to be ordering. It seems Euro blonde and Cristal Ocean seem to be the waxes of choice, would you agree? I will be ordering a metal spatula but know I will need disposable ones too, as there are two different lengths 15" or 18", any recommendations here? Any I have seen that I need prep oil under most waxes inclusing warm it seems I need prep oil, whats your favourite? All help much appreciated! Thanks |

EuroBlonde for the nonstrip definitely - it is by far the best. For the strip wax I am not a fan of Cristal Ocean and much prefer the Escential range (usually Green Tea for me).
For disposable spatulas and strips I usually get all mine from Salons Direct - their spatulas and thin strips are excellent! You will also need Blue Lotion for cleansing the skin and the best oil is the Jasmine oil. Any questions please just give a shout! Also if you are going to the Pro Beauty show I will be on the stand there if you need any advice. Good luck! Mat |

Also any ideas roughly how may waxes you get out of an 800g bag, half legs would be a good example and how many bikinis out of the hot if you happen to know? Id love to get to the beauty show but unfortunately wont be able to have any time away from my new project just yet! |

Hi, could I ask please where you buy yours from?? I have been getting mine from Beauty Express but You have to spend £50 with them as a minimum order. I only get my wax from there and dont always need £50.00 worth (hopefully oneday I will)
Thank you |

I agree that Euroblonde and Cristal Ocean are both great waxes - they are the most popular PR waxes and their signature range.
I use salons direct for my disposable spatulas the standard ones and the small face spatulas- and I use the extra thin paper strips from them as well , I find the thin strips so much better than the standard ones. I use Jasmine oil and Blue lotion and the refreshing gel is a great after wax soothing after wax gel and works really well after intimate waxing. Ellisons have really good priced metal spatulas. Good luck and Im sure you will love your new waxes... Jack |

Sorry but I only do male waxing and for leg waxing I generally only use strip waxes and its much more cost effective and much quicker. If you message Kim Lawless I am sure she will be able to give you much more information on the number of leg waxes/ bikini waxes etc from a bag of wax, or if you have a search through some of the older threads I recall this being discussed before and a lot of the geeks who specialise in female waxing would have more information. An 800g bag of wax will fill a 1000cc wax pot; fill the pot and turn it on as it melts it will drop down and then top up with the remaining wax. With Thalgo you can order as much or as little as you need; although there is free delivery if you spend a certain amount but speak to the office and they can confirm this. HTH Jack |

Just wanted to say, most leg waxing is normally done with warm wax (in a tin) whereas hard wax (in a bag) is used more for terminal hair, i.e. bikini, underarms etc

I know, warm wax for larger areas, legs especially, that was all I ever intended to use, I think Ice either written something in a hurry or its been read the wrong way! |
