Hi, i did the course and loved it! you do need a steady hand, and it takes a while to complete the treatment on the client (if you find they need quite a few lashes), but they look magnificant! I've only performed it on 2 people since the course a month ago, with one girl there were still some in 2 months later! with another lady they lasted for 2 weeks before they had mostly come off, but she was on holiday and faffing about with creams (which you can't apply to eyelashes - they'll come out). One thing i would recommend, hollywood lashes are pretty dear (around £300 for the full kit) and you can't buy the different bits of the kit singularly, so if you run out of something, it would appear to have to get the whole kit again. Marvel lashes are fantastic, look fab and natural, and are just £175 for the kit and you can order extra bits or bits when you run out, as and when you need them!
Good luck! Oh, and they charge £60-£80 in northants! |

I did my hollywood lashes course last week and I loved it! Yes you defo need a steady hand and lots of practice but the results are fab. Just wanted to correct lhunny.......you can but your bits separately on their website hollywoodlashes.com or from ellisons, you don't need to but the full kit again. HTH

Eyelash Extensions -
28-03-07, 11:13 PM
Hi Geeks
I'm Julie and proud owner of Hollywood Lashes. I was one of the pioneers of Eyelash Extensions into the UK over 2 years ago. My aim right from the beginning was to supply products and training at competetive prices which i have always acheived (check out the competion prices on kits and training) Unfortunately in this and other industries you have the guys that sit back and wait for everyone else to do the hard work and build up the interest in a new beauty treatment then launch their own brands undercutting the existing long standing companies. I guarantee to beat any UK competetors price, I have a range of kits available from £170 which include more lashes and more equipment all housed in a custom built beauty case (not a cardboard box) Hollywood Lashes now uses the latest EC approved adhesive and Organic based debonder (lash remover) which are produced in the EU and not imported products from Asia or USA (which most come from Asia anyway) My training programme is £150 per therapist and we have training throughout the uk. Most of our trainers have been training in this field for years not months! Our products can be bought seperately from Hollywood Lashes If your looking to take up this application in your salon please call us on 0113 2889712 if you have a genuine quote from another company we will beat it!! Talk to us first! we've been around a long time! The Gauntlet Has Now Been Thrown In!!! |
