If it was me i would stock the product i was trained to use.
When a client asks about one of the products you will then be armed with all relevant info on it.

Seems daft to be trained in X product but stock XX product, i cant see any logic in that.

Go with what you are trained in chick would be my advice.

I suggest you have a plough through the numerous posts all ready on here about this because so many of us use and have used so many different ranges and there is a lot of info and help for you.Its very much an individual choice depending on your needs and your clients.
Also go to olympia if you can so you can get to see the products first hand.
Ring companies for samples and also do some market research about what is already being used in your area.

Gerards are an up and coming brand if no one uses them in your area you will be able to offer something different to your competitors. It would definitely be a good thing to investigate all areas that you are already familiar with before navigating new brands.
I guess it also depends on what kind of treatments and retail you want to offer. Good luck.

I rent a room above a hairdressers and use dermalogica I think my opening order was just under the 3k mark, there is no minimum order, the training is fantastic, I can't fault them. in my opening order they gave me alot of free stuff too, I had my first years insurance free, free headset and £200 worth of products too.(other stuff to but I didn't use it) I'm presuming they do different promotions all the time but I would definately look around and see what others are offering.
